Maharaja Birbikram University of Agartala, Tripura has given “Adwaitia Mallabarman Award-2017” to Kamal Ahmed at a seminar in the campus on 27th March 2017. The University honored Kamal Ahmed towards his contribution on patronizing Rabindra culture and playing vital role in the journey of “Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendro” to Modern Radio.
